Staff tries to help, communication and amenities could be improvedsubmitted by Gary R. - |Recommended: NoI would tell them that I feel a bit like a number because this is the first time I've been asked for input in my 8 years living there. We've had many issues over the years that have required push back to get reasonably addressed, though things have improved significantly since Morgan and the current property manager have come on board. Other buildings are newer and offer way more amenities that are better maintained and better parking for about the same or even less money depending . For instance, the dog park is overdue for a refresh, the club room media doesn't seem to ever work properly pool table needs replacement and should not cost so much to reserve periodically, and I got a notice about parking over the line when most of the spots don't allow room for anyone to open their doors. Residents should feel like they are coming home and that management is there to serve, not that management is doing them a favor by allowing them to live there. I do have to admit though that the staff has typically been bright spot to male property managers before Morgan not withstanding

Very nice in every waysubmitted by Kathy E. - |Recommended: YesI have been living here for 6 months and do not have any complaints. When I needed some maintenance done, they performed it that day. When I needed a parking Spence after I moved in, it was taken care of immediately, when I needed an extra set of keys, great communication and delivery. The front desk is very nice and convenient. I get notified of my packages and can even drop off and pick up dry cleaning. Such a time saver The location is great, a short 0.4 mile walk to either Crystal City or Pentagon City Metro stations. Plus, Whole Foods across the street The entire complex is quiet. The workout room is sufficient for what I need. The pool is small but refreshing on a hot day. Party room is also a nice location to visit. It is mostly quiet during the day so you can get away from any noise within your apartment. Overall, I have enoyed living here. I would recommend it to anyone.

Enjoying my Staysubmitted by Shannon S. - |Recommended: YesSo far so good, the washing machine had to be replaced shortly after move in but it was replaced with a brand new unit. A few small issues here and there that comes with moving into a new place. Overall I really have no complaints.

Extremely satisfied, little room for improvementsubmitted by Austin M. - |Recommended: YesThe Meridian at Pentagon city has been the best apartment I have ever lived in. When we moved in the apartment was spotless with minor issues which were resolved by the maintenance crew within 24 hours. I was blown away at how quick and without question their service is. Our balcony had a little bit of guck that had settled because of rain water clearly the last resident didn't go outside and they sent a contractor out to re-level the balcony. This isn't an issue with non top floor apartments though. I can only hear my neighbors through the doors of the hallway, but never when we are inside our room. Lastly, the views are phenomenal. I highly recommend living here.

ALL of the elevators broke down. ALL.submitted by Tenant O. - |Recommended: NoPicture it Labor Day, it felt as though it was 105 degrees outside and all we wanted to do was get upstairs and relax. Imagine what went through everyone's minds when we discovered that ALL THREE ELEVATORS had shut down due to overheating. The elevators were probably as hot as every tenant who had to schlep to their apartments in insanely hot stairwells it is a damn good thing I had not parked in the garage and lived on the 17th floor. Meridian cannot call themselves a luxury building when our elevators are constantly needing service AND when our entire building has been unsecured for WEEKS with a broken door that anyone can just walk up to and open it if it isn't stuck in the open position .

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused when the elevators went down on Labor Day. It is never our intention to have issues occur especially on a holiday weekend, but unfortunately on one of the warmest days of the year, our elevator panel overheated and shut down. We immediately contacted our repair company and had them sent out for the emergency call. The elevators were back up and running later that day. We have our elevators serviced regularly and aside from this weekend are not aware of any recent issues with the elevators. We agree that the repair to the broken door took entirely too long, primarily because there was a part that needed to be fabricated. During that time, our front desk team was monitoring the door frequently and ensuring that it was closed properly when left open. We are constantly working to improve our service and our community and truly appreciate your feedback. The property is very nice and the personal are very friendly. I started to scrub it off and could not.

Little things become HUGE frustrationssubmitted by Frustrated - |Recommended: NoI live in the Phase II building, where we did not have air conditioning in the hallways and elevators for 12 days. 12 DAYS of leaving an apartment and going into a humid hallway that smelled of mildew and then being in a hot elevator was a joy Today, I received notification of a package delivery and went to pick it up when we returned home at 2 30 PM, but the sign on the front desk said the concierge was away and would return at 3. Went back around 3 30, sign was changed to 4 00.... went after 4, and you know it, right Sign changed to 5 00. Three attempts to pick it up and I can't. We have been asked repeatedly to pick up packages on a timely basis, but how can residents do that if no one is there It's probably easier to wait until 6PM or sometime on the weekend or have things shipped to your office .

Once we were able to diagnose the issue with the air conditioning unit, parts were ordered to make the appropriate repairs.Unfortunately, it took longer than expected for the parts to come in and we apologize for not providing better communication with our residents about this situation. In regards to the front desk, occasionally, the front desk attendants may need to step away for an undetermined amount of time. If you are in need of immediate assistance, and no one is available, we ask that our residents call the Leasing Office directly so someone may assist you right away. We completely understand your frustrations and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
